Costs
There are many variables when it comes to the cost of a vehicle. Luxury cars, economical cars, upgraded features and vehicle make and model just to name a few. Luxury cars are going to cost more because you are paying for the style and sophistication that comes with owning a luxury car. When you think of luxury the words that come to mind are comfort, style, security so be prepared to spend well over $35000 for a luxury vehicle. Some examples of a luxury vehicle are Mercedes, Corvette, Porsche, BMW or Audi. Luxury cars offer more options including automatic rear view mirror defrosters, rear glass auto tint, automatic headlight steering swivel, refrigerated glove box and rear seat massagers. Economical cars are fairly cheaper costing around $15000. An economical car is more fuel efficient but is also a lot smaller then a luxury car offering very basic features. Some examples of economical cars are Cobalt, Neon, Taurus, Civic and Kia. Economical cars are more suitable for college students and commuters. Upgraded features are also an additional cost.
You will pay extra for any and every upgrade you choose whether
its adding DVD players, tinted windows, navigation system, leather
interior, custom wheels or a GPS locator (lo-jack). Another key
factor dealing with the cost of a vehicle is the vehicle make and
model. In some cases you are paying for the name you’ll pay less
for a Toyota then you would a Lexus. For example Toyota Camry is a
lot cheaper and has a lot of good features as far as options and
drive-ability, versus a Lexus GS300 which is on the same frame of
car but of course offering a lot more standard options. They both
come with the same motor options and transmission options but of
course you are paying more for the Lexus which is the luxury
version of Toyota.
